The country has a caretaker government until general elections are heldand a new government is formed. The next general election is set for 18February 2008. Most Cabinet portfolios are currently held by retiredbureaucrats, judges, and military officers. Members of the caretakergovernment are prohibited from seeking parliamentary seats in theupcoming elections. |
